76. Just because something “negative” happens, it doesn’t mean you’re off-purpose.
77. Part of using your intuition to dissolve blockages and create illumination is learning to feel and sense the subtle vibrations in your body, to allow the nonverbal information from the cells to rise, moving progressively up through your spine and brain until it becomes conscious and verbal.
78. Recognize consciously what makes you feel uncomfortable and distracted. If you can, change the environment to suit your preferences. If you can’t change the environment, admit out loud what’s bothering you. Name it. Then tell your body it’s OK, that you’re safe. Just naming a problem can often dissolve it altogether.
79. To accomplish specific goals, both men and women must use dynamic male energy. We’re in our left-brained “masculine mind” so often, we’ve come to identify it as normal. We forget there is an equally powerful, complementary state of consciousness, which is tension-free: the intuitive “feminine mind.”
80. You don’t need an opinion right now. You aren’t required to make a decision, to like or dislike what’s happening. No action must be taken. The situation just is what it is. When you’re not busy making a mark on your environment it just might have a chance to educate you about a few things. Keep company with each object, creature, and situation you notice.
81. The more you consciously notice something, the more you learn about it, and the more energy you feel. Sensitivity increases in proportion to your ability to attend to things. What you discover is that the knowledge and energy was always there. You weren’t aware of it because your mind was occupied elsewhere.
82. Attention reveals energy: As you hold attention on a part of your body, it may feel suddenly flooded with vitality. Attention reveals information and knowledge: You might just as quickly understand what foods you need to eat and why.
83. Turn on your 360-degree awareness; open the eyes in the back of your head. Become so sensitive, that like a deer in the forest, you can feel the subtle impress of the hunter’s attention as he watches and stalks you.
84. You are not alone. Even when no other person is near, you can be in silent conversation with the mysterious Presence that exists in your own body, in the air around you, the leaves of the plants, the fibers of your clothes, and the metal of your car. There is an invisible entity popping up to meet you out of every atom.
85. Imagine that there is a great, loving, wise being who knows who you really are, and who accepts you, provides for you and helps spin out the thread of your life experience by maintaining its gaze upon you constantly, without letup.
86. If you can learn to be equally physical, mental, and spiritual, you will effortlessly enter a new kind of unified perception where the invisible becomes visible and the intangible feels real. You’ll understand completely the paradox that you are simultaneously an individual and universal in your identity, with no sacrifice to either.
87. When body, mind, and spirit are unified, when you cast your attention outward, you experience life as a seamless web, a unified field of boundless, free-flowing energy and knowledge. You feel your identity as a presence that is everywhere, inside everything in the world. You don’t stop at your skin; your body feels like the nucleus of a cell whose walls you can never reach.
88. The intuitive process is really a path to spiritual enlightenment, and as such, constantly challenges you to overcome ignorance and recreate love and clarity. You can begin the hero/heroine’s journey by being open to use all information that comes to you — from any source.
89. What draws you outward and inspires you to expand your consciousness? Your soul’s purpose. What makes you narrow your focus to concentrate on a specific task and to create? Your soul’s purpose. What gives you revelations? Your soul. Your soul regulates the seemingly haphazard flow of your conscious mind’s sequence of perceptions, and this includes your dream perceptions as well as your waking ones.
90. What marks the beginning of an official spiritual journey is a yearning for a deeper experience of connectedness and all the spiritual qualities — like harmony, peace, joy, unhindered creativity, kindness, and generosity — followed by a conscious choice to change.
